Submersible Pump Repair
presented by
Roger Jenkins of Precision Power
Friday, October 6, 2000
Roger Jenkins is a well recognized and highly respected seminar presenter for EASA on Pump Repairs. At our 1999 Conference in Lancaster Pennsylvania, Roger presented his seminar on Centrifugal Pumps. Numerous attendees' opinions were sought during that conference, and based on the response, our technical committee decided to ask Roger back this year to present his seminar on SUBMERSIBLE PUMP REPAIR. These seminars are "Hands-On", from the technician's viewpoint. Attendees will be presented with various "Tips and Tricks" for troubleshooting, servicing and repairing just a few of the myriad types and brands of submersible pumps in service in our markets. This is one seminar you won't want to miss.

Rigging
presented by
Ace Industries, Inc - Crane & Hoist Division
Saturday, October 7, 2000
7:45AM to 11:45AM
All of us have to do "Rigging" of some type, every day of the week. Whether it's at a customer location, loading and unloading our own or supplier's trucks, or just normal work flow within the shop..... rigging is a part of our business.
Some of the questions are .. Do we do it safely and abide by OSHA rules and regulations? Are we using the proper equipment for the job? Are we "adjusting" the ratings of slings and chains when they are applied in different ways? What ARE the proper AND improper ways to attach slings and chains to equipment? What are the best and most economical materials to consider when purchasing lifting equipment?
The list of questions and situations goes on and on. I'm sure you can think of a dozen more that you'd like to ask. Well, Saturday morning, October 7th, 2000, at the TC2K conference in the Pennsylvania Pocono Mountains, you'll get your chance. We have 4 hours scheduled and devoted to the subject for your education.

Motor Shop Computer Software
Saturday, October 7, 2000
7:45AM to 11:45AM
Thinking about automating your data collection, job costing and office systems? If so, then Saturday is the day for YOU! We have three computer software vendors that will be explaining their software and demonstrating it's use to all in attendance. During the morning hours on Saturday, ACS, Edata, and Springpoint Solutions, will each be given 1 - 1/4 hours of seminar time to "show their wares". These vendors have also been given the opportunity to display in our exhibit hall on Friday, so I'm sure you can get a "personal" glimpse of the software and it's operation during the two exhibit hall showings.
So bring the members of your staff that are helping you make your data collection update solution to the "TC2K" conference, at the Fernwood Resort in Pennsylvania's Pocono Mountains and get a first hand look at these three vendor's solution to "Software for Electric Motor Repair Shops".
This set of seminars will be presented opposite the "Rigging" seminars, so since you can't be in both places at the same time, we'd suggest you register one or more of your fellow employees to attend with you so you'll get the benefit of taking home the full slate of information.
