Directions to Hotel

The following will give you directions to reach the Conference Hotel from most areas in our regions. We hope they will be appropriate and help you with your travel plans.

First of all, if you need to FLY to the conference, you'll want to do your best to fly into the Regional Airport at Salisbury, MD (SBY). The airport can also be found under Salisbury-Ocean City Wicomico Regional Airport. I believe you will find US Airways will be your best bet for travel. But an internet search also came up with United, American Airlines, Delta Airlines, Midwest Airlines, and Northwest. But upon additional searching, they all put you on a final flight by US Airways. So why not cut out the middle man and simply book on US Air. As an example, I checked for flights out of Atlanta, GA and the flight takes you to Charlotte, NC and then to Salisbury. Don't expect a direct flight from anywhere except Pittsburg, PA, Charlotte, NC and Philadelphia, PA. Direct flights from Philly, however, will cost you an arm and a leg. If you're going to drive to Philadelphia and then fly, you may as well drive the whole way. But the strange thing is (leave it to the airline industry) you can book a DIRECT flight (both ways) from Orlando, FL and on July 4, 2008, that flight cost is only $274 round trip. You can't drive it for that!!

There are numerous "transportation services" available at the airport, like taxi service. We'll do some research and post additional information here at a later date. The hotel is approximately 25 miles from the airport.

The form in this section can be used to obtain driving directions from a starting address (that you input) to the Princess Royale in Ocean City, MD. You will need to have access to the internet (DUH! - You're already there if you're reading this) since this form will take you directly to the Rand McNally site and load the data you enter into the form. You need ONLY enter your starting address. The form "MAGICALLY" knows where you want to end up and it will handle the rest. When you get the directions, look them over closely. We cannot be held responsible for you getting to Ocean City, MD by way of Las Vegas, NV!!!

If you're driving, and have a GPS device that allows input of Latitude-Longitude data, the coordinates of Ocean City, MD are

38°32'59" Latitude and 75°7'47" Longitude

The one I use doesn't allow latitude-longitude input but allows me to input the name "Princess Royale Hotel" as a "Point of Interest" and it has found it without problems and the directions were accurate.
